GWJ#65 - Overload: Space Cleaner
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
SPACE CLEANER is a 2D game created for the Godot Wild Jam #65. This is a mix between a shooter and an endless runner. The basics of a scenario are also implemented thanks to dialogs between characters and diaries.
Tips: Press the escape key ([ESC]) to skip the scenario. When you die, to avoid a waste of time, press [ESC], a menu will appear then press the retry button to relaunch the level faster :)
It is better to play in fullscreen mode (options menu). I can add a web version if someone wants to try it. But as one suffers from latency, please enjoy the demo downloading the right version (Win, Linux and MacOS).
Inspirations: Star wars / babylon 5... / documentaries regarding the space pollution / current energy problem...
This demo includes:
- a tutorial
- 2 levels with different gameplay mechanics. A boss fight occurs at the end of the 1st level.
The objectives are detailed during the game. Just try to accomplish them.
Tips :
- pressing [TAB] hide/show the UI.
- press [ESC] to skip scenario or open the menu
All input keys can be reassigned thanks to the options menu. This is available within the main menu scene.
In-game, press [Escape] to open it.
Only playable with keyboard and mouse at the moment.
